PRODUCT / Self-evolution

Gets better from its own failures, under rules it cannot change

TheOne groups the failures its verifier confirmed, works out what to change, and proves each change in an isolated evaluation before it reaches anyone.

01

From failure to a proven fix

  • A failure counts only after it recurs in at least three independent, independently verified runs.
  • A candidate change replays the same real tasks as the current version, including adversarial ones, and is proposed only if nothing regresses.
  • An approved change goes to a small share of runs first, and the canary stops on its own if results get worse.
02

What it can never change

  • Its own permissions, its verifier and its trust roots.
  • Changes to its source code always need a person to approve them.
